Hi friends, just wanted to touch base on a few items. First and foremost, it is official, we will be moving rehearsals to Wednesdays at 5:30. This change will most likely take place during the third week of April.
That would be April 20th. Also, please bear in mind that as we move forward we are working with a new rotation, which means new singers and musicians, which means last minute key changes and or last minute song switches. PLEASE bring all your charts to each practice so that any changes that need take place can be done so as quickly as possible. PLEASE check the blog regularly, or at least prior to rehearsal and on Saturday night so that everyone shows up as prepared as possible. PLEASE bring your happy faces and inside voices :)
So... here is the first curve ball. Easter Sunday we will be accompanying a young vocalist from our childrens ministry as she sings "Above All", by Michael W. Smith. Her name is Heather and she will be sitting in with us for a few minutes tomorrow to start the process. I will bring charts with, for tomorrow. Easy song, and we will not make a giant production out of it. Mainly guitar, syth for background and some percussion.
